This was me on Monday getting my first ever root canal.
Really it wasn't all that bad but on Tuesday every time I would bite down it felt like I was biting tin foil, so back in I went yesterday to have some of the filling filed down. I'm feeling better today but my tooth is still pretty tender.
So I am here, I'm just not really in a boggy mood. Hopefully my ibuprofen will kick in and I'll be back up to speed in no time. :)

UGH....been there, done that. NO FUN. Hope it is feeling back to normal by the weekend!

Hope you feel better soon. I never needed so much as tylenol with any of my 3. The crown part REALLY stinks if you are having that. I could've used valium. Root canal piece of cake, crown, run screaming!!!

this is crazy. I had my FIRST root canal on MONDAY too! it's a bummer deal huh. I wanted to cry when they told me I had to have one. plus the cost.... uggh. I still can't really bite down on my tooth. Good luck on your recovery!
I've had two root canals, four wisdom teeth extracted and am currently getting two crowns done. I am so terrified of the dentist that I tense up so bad in the chair that the paper nappy thing they put on me flutters from me shaking and I have a tension headache when I leave because I can't relax in that chair! Bad experience when I was little. Blech. Hate going, but it's necessary. Hope you feel better soon!
Oh Yuck. My dentist and I have a love hate relationship. It is not fun but it is one of those necessary evils. May your recovery time include lots of ice cream and DP floats!
Having done that twice I feel your pain! Then 7 years after my last root canal I had to have the stinkin' tooth pulled anyway. What a waste of money. Why do we need teeth anyways?! jk

♥ I had a root canal when I was 7 someone hit me in the tooth with a huge red beaded necklace... So not fun... best part though is I can't remember what it felt like... :)
Bless your heart! If it makes you feel better, I had to have a re-root canal. On my 30th birthday. No joke. But my endodontist was smokin' hot, So that made it a little easier...until I realized how NOT smokin' hot I looked with that crazy plastic-mouth-holder-opener-thing in, drooling everywhere! Oh, well... Hope your drugs kick in and send you to LaLa Land!

root canals aren't so bad as long as they are done right. I've had 3 myself. Hope your tooth isn't bothering you too much anymore.
